personally, i dont like much tribal or common tattoos like this. it is good art work, but i am an artist and aspiring tattoo artist, so naturally imvery picky with tattoos and how original and tacky they might be. i could spout off all of my criticism about this tattoo but i dont know you or why you got it, and also my first tattoo is one that i regret getting. i will say the obvious though: you shouldnt have stopped at the top edge of the shoulder or cut it off straight right before your elbow, thats mainly what makes it unoriginal, you/your artist should have gone outside the "box" and expanded a much more intricate and detailed tribal design past the shoulder and elbow onto the chest or shoulder blade and maybe wrapped the tribal around the elbow area ending with an unsymetrical twirl...but thats just what i see.

This is really nice! Not to disagree, but to me it looks like a take on "The Lady or the Tiger" with the tribal background actually being a kind of stylized Indian double door (hence the tiger leaping out of it). This would be his answer to "Did the tiger come out of that door, or did the lady?" Then again I could be reading WAY more into it than intended.

haha, Crapsmaster, you obviously don't know anything about the meaning behind a tattoo like this. I think you are foolish, therefore you should probably keep your comments where they belong. In your uneducated (at least on the subject of Polynesian tattoos) head. Decent work, obviously on someone of island descent, and beyond that, probably east asian, lending the tiger influence.

Pretty well done tattoo, but it's still a hilariously stupid and generic mishmash of meaningless BS. Sure the tattoo artist has skills, but this just shows a total the lack of any taste, or even an ounce of originality in the person who wanted it.
