Your Tattoo Sucks

This may very well be the most random combination of tattoo concepts that I have ever seen.  So first off to be clear, I think the artwork here is actually quite good and it is an excellent use of color and I can’t imagine how tedious (and painful) getting all that black fill had to of been.  Now that the props are out of the way, let’s examine this one step by step.  Obviously, with this large back tattoo he is going for three primary concepts: 1) his daughter 2) his Country & 3) his favorite science fiction film.  Well clearly by the building blocks across the top, his daughter’s name is Courtney.  The country part is a little confusing to me…clearly he isn’t Egyptian so the Ankh in the middle is representative of “Life”…guessing his daughter.  I’m also hoping that the two hand sizes are of his daughter and his own…cause if not…his daughter is going to have a lot of trouble finding dates with her physical mismatched hands deformity later in life.  Country here being represented with the American flag across the hands and Ankh…and what’s up with the camo print at the bottom?  Now on to the rest of this trifecta of randomness…the Death Star is in a mid-blowing up phase…which certainly is contradictory to his love of “Life” there based on his Ankh.  Guess he only cares about his life and his daughter’s…and not the lives of thousands of Stormtroopers, maids, janitors, cooks, electricians, and engineers that were just going about their daily lives aboard that Death Star.  I also wonder about the placement of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker on each side…is he saying his daughter is representative of Vader and he the good Jedi Luke?  I’m not gonna knock the Millenium Falcon…cause that does look friggin rad, but what the hell is up with the planet below?  Why wouldn’t he put the Earth there since he loves his country so much?  Seeing as how it isn’t representative of a real planet…why was it even needed in the first place?  He should have put a big fatass Jabba the Hut below there with his love slave hooker Leia all chained up and holding that laughing weird looking monkey.  That or maybe JarJar Binks being quartered by 4 At-Ats.  Yeah…that would be awesome.  What’s this guy gonna do if he has another daughter or a son…well there’s always the front side.  Well, I guess that’s enough rambling…enjoy the triple play.
