Your Tattoo Sucks

So I sent a call out on Twitter (@yourtattoosucks) asking for folks to send in any Valentines Day related tattoos for me to feature here today in honor of this joke of a holiday.  Here is the first submission from Steph who has these two inked.  I think most folks will agree on the first one that love does kill slowly.  Not sure what Bella Vendetta means, but the hearts in the skull and bow are a nice touch.  Thanks for sending these in Steph!  If anyone else has any to share use the submit form here to get em to me and I’ll try my best to post them up today.

Listen up children to the writing tramp stamped on the girl in front of you, crack kills.  Just say no to crack.  While you’re at it, just say no to terrible tramp stamp ideas too. 

OMG. This one is off the charts on the Fail-o-Meter.  Not only did you get a tattoo of a terrible band, you got the tattoo covering most of your arm…by what looks like someone who has never seen an ink gun in their life before they started mutilating your arm.  I really hope this wasn’t done by a “professional” and was instead done by your buddy at home with a ball point pen and spork from Taco Bell.  At least that would explain the craptasticness of the design and execution.

Both of these terrible designs are on the same dude. First is a series of random poorly done music notes and stars.  Are some of those notes backwards?  I’m not a musician, but some just look weird to me (and not talking about the terrible ink job).  The other is some kind of anime looking chick crawling toward a brown alien in chains while she picks her nose.  I’m sure this is supposed to be some specific Pokemon character or something, but I’m at a complete loss.  Anyone know?

Some folks can’t stand tribal tattoos and think they are played out, others would disagree and say they can be cool when done right.  I fall in the category leaning to the can be good side, mainly due my digging of the polynesian/hawaiian tribal style tattoos.  This would certainly fall in the WTF tribal category.  Whatever you did here did nothing more than make your chest look like a weird face. Do you see it?  If not, I’ll explain.  The chest tribal tat looks like giant eyelashes coming off the eyes (nipples) and the lame “KNIGHT” lettering looks like a mustache and his belly button would be the mouth. Prime example of be careful on what other ink you have and how it could relate to other work.

I have seen a tattoo on the back of an ear before, but never seen one inked inside an ear. I can’t even begin to think about how much that had to of hurt. Yikes!!  I certainly couldn’t imagine getting this inked, but it’s not on me. For where it is located I do give em props for fitting it in there by incorporating the curves well.  Not really sure what is up with the sharp teeth though…vampire skull maybe? Still makes me cringe to think about getting it there.
