Nasty Realistic Ribs Tattoo

The realistic horror style tats have never been my thing. I’m really not sure why anyone would want a realistic image of an area of your body missing skin with an exposed rib cage on it. Anyone have an idea what the two tats are on the chest? Really curious what he thought went well with this nasty rib mess.

They must have failed anatomy. Rib cages connect in the middle of the chest. The rib cages in the tat come to a point. Yes maybe someone hit him with a sledge hammer or something but that would cause the bones to snap in half. Then again, they could have snapped in half and then carefully grinded to a point…not sure

^^ I think you’re being too harsh. The “points” are where the ribs disappear back under the remaining skin/flesh. Good taste or otherwise, this is a good representation. But, hell, I’m only a police surgeon…..
