Contra Nintendo Code
Loading ...Just about everyone in the 25 and up age bracket that played original NES knows about the Contra code to give you unlimited lives (technically was only 99 but if you couldn’t beat that game with 99 lives then you are an idiot and don’t need to be playing video games anyway). In fact, I would be willing to argue that the Contra code is the single most widely known video game cheat code ever created. Now I love me some Contra…but would I ever get the code tattooed on my person…hells no. And, if it pleases the court, I would like to object…the original Contra game was never on the Nintendo Gameboy so that code would have never been valid…unless the code worked for later Contra games. If so, someone please correct me there.
Oh and I know it has nothing to do with the Contra tattoo…but doesn’t the shape of her belly button and that mole form together a perfect question mark?

ah yes the Mortal Kombat take this game off G parental sheltering code. dig it. another classic. that and the straight to Mike Tyson code from old school Nintendo NES Mike Tyson’s Punchout. i can’t remember that one off the top of my head but used to be able to recite it by heart.

Some background info.
I don’t actually know the girl (although she was my waitress once), but she did date this guy I went to high school with.
The Gameboy tattoo was first, and the Konami Code added later. There is no relation between the two other than the fact that they are both Nintendo related.

The code does give you 30 lives, not 99, I’ll never forget.

The code gave you 30 lives, but 3 continues, for a total of 90 lives.
